The Minor Threat came about as some of us are parents now, and we realised kids these days are putting higher and higher demands on their equipment than ever before.
The V2 builds on the success of the Minor Threat and adds tweaks and refinements, as well as a new 27.5" size (S3).

We built the Minor Threat because kids deserve more than scaled-down compromises.
The goal was simple: give younger riders the kind of suspension, geometry, and parts package grown-ups actually want, just in a pint-sized platform.
The 4-bar layout, leverage ratio, and RockShox suspension were all tuned specifically around lighter rider weights.
Flip-chip geometry, low standover, room for a dropper, and S1/S2 wheel-size options keep the Minor Threat capable on trails, jumps, and park laps.
Inside Minor Threat V2
The details that made Minor Threat V2 a serious youth full-suspension bike.
4-Bar Suspension
A real suspension layout, not a watered-down kids-bike shortcut.
Flip-Chip Geo
Adjustable geometry helps tune fit and handling as riders grow.
Dropper Ready
Low standover and seatpost room keep movement free when trails get steep.
12-Speed Eagle
A serious drivetrain and proper build kit make it more than a beginner bike.
