How it started
It started with steel hardtails built in Whistler for the riding we do every day. Riders noticed, then they came back, then they brought friends. The idea never changed: design honest geometry, handbuild it to last, and stand behind every frame that leaves the shop.
What drives us
Good bikes come from caring about the unglamorous parts. The tubeset. The dropouts. The welds you'll never see. We obsess over those details because that's where durability lives, and we ride-test every frame on the same Coast Mountain trails it's built for.
Ride-tested
We ride every frame on home trails before it ships. If it doesn't hold up, it doesn't ship.
Built to last
We sweat the welds, the dropouts, the junctions you'll never see. Trail abuse finds everything else.
Rider-owned
We're riders building for riders. The crew in the Bike Shed shreds the same trails you do.

Our process
Every frame starts with geometry worth riding. We draw it long, low and slack for steep Sea to Sky terrain, then refine reach, head angle and chainstay until it climbs hard and descends harder.
We build in 4130 chromoly and titanium for that smooth, springy, vibration-damping ride feel that holds up to trail abuse. Custom-drawn tubes, CNC'd dropouts and junctions. If something rides better, we use it.
Frames are handbuilt in Canada and Taiwan by people who hold our standards: real craftsmanship, tight tolerances, welds you can count on. We stay close to every step.
Before anything reaches you, we ride it. We pedal it, drop it, and try to break it on our home trails. The only way to know a frame works is to send it for real.
Looking forward
We're not done. Every season on the bike teaches us something, and every conversation with a rider sharpens what comes next. The goal hasn't moved: build bikes we want to ride, then make them better.
Follow the build
New frames, behind-the-scenes from the Bike Shed, and the occasional dispatch from the trail. No noise, just the good stuff.
